The verdant forms communicate through the veins of the fungal beings

All the bodies of the forest
Rest upon these fungal roots
Yet unknown to all who wander

The watcher of the forest waits
To lure the travelers deep within
In the form of man, woman, or child

The mycelium below do crave
The nourishment from the ones above
The consciousness of woods and root
Must feed upon thy flesh and soul

The body shall be decomposed but the form will remain
Made anew of wood and dirt through the process of mycelial-hybridization
Cells bonding to the fungus flesh changing from within
Decomposing, deconstructing, the vessel which binds the soul

Buried within the dampened soil
