Chrysalis

I'll take your hand
You take my own
And we'll stand valiantly
On the edge of tomorrow
Generations lost
To wisdom unbestowed
Hearts filled with nothing
the chrysalis takes hold
The snow surrounds us
The ice forms within
The darkness enshrouds us
The light can't get in
Beaten and broken
left standing in the cold
Withered and naked
The chrysalis takes hold

He lives atop the frozen mountain
Deep inside the cave of sorrows
Alone he he stays for all of time
Yet hunger calls him out agian
Argaloth!
Beast of the mountain!
Bringer of frost
Slayer of men
Up the mountain
The hero ascends
Through the frozen waste
And icy jagged slopes
To the cave! He comes
Sword in hand
To slay the creature
That plagues his home
Deep in the rock
He meats the beast
Eyes closed
Sword meats heart
In death!
The troll becomes man
In life!
The man becomes beast!

Buried in time
Lost among the sands
Forgotten Kingdom
Neglected by the hands of man
Temples eroded
Gods defiled
Pharaohs abandoned
Rejected by the souls of the harrowed
Calcified form within
Withered at the core
The foundation distorted as the monument soared
Prophets arisen and fallen with ease
Great obelisks erected
And toppled clean
Is this empire eternal?
Or will it be gone?
Like a speck in the void
In the endless nothingness!
How can it last for ever?
Nothing ever, will!

Alone She Waits
05:48
|

Alone she waits
Eyes shut never opened
Sitting in a verdant realm
Forgotten souls
Wander here
In search of something
Beyond
Distant pasts
Culminate
In the reflections of the waters
Ancient eyes
Stare back at her
As she looks deeply, inwards!
Into! The cavernous abyss
Where the darkness enshrouds the woods
The vale lifts and the mist recedes
And the bones lay buried in the earth
The moss creeps
Upon her flesh
As she sits silently
Upon the dirt
Her shape returns
To the Soil
As her soul returns
To the earth
